Cookable Kitchen is currently supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Our production costs are largely paid for by personal donations.
Your support in any amount helps us to do things like:
Maintain and upgrade photo/video equipment to provide higher quality instruction.
Invest in technology that allows us to create more recipes and content, faster.
Purchase marketing space and materials to help reach the most people possible.
Attend conferences to share our message of inclusion and learn from experts.
Higher levels of support would help us increase our offerings and get closer to our vision. Please take a moment to learn about our vision for where we’re going.

Volunteer
Cookable Kitchen is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with the following activities. Contact us to learn more and apply.
Cook recipes we’ve created and tell us things like: How easy was it to make? Did the recipe make sense? Did it taste good? We are especially interested in volunteers who: a) have a disability or impairment, and/or; b) are very new to cooking . Your experience can help us make sure we are meeting accessibility needs. Volunteers are welcome to work with support persons or independently on recipe testing.
Help us to make and test recipes to keep us stocked with fresh, healthy, and creative meals! Chefs or experienced home cooks welcome. Recipe developers must be willing to create recipes within Cookable Kitchen guidelines.
Do you have experience editing and cutting video? Amateur looking to expand your portfolio? Help us create appetizing food videos by editing for us. Minimal training is available. Video editors must be able to self-teach if you have less editing experience.
Do you have experience touching up photos to make beautiful, Instagram worthy shots? Help us edit the huge amount of food photos we take. Making beautiful and instructive recipes is at the top of our list!
Help us take photos for recipes, promotional materials, and events. Skilled hobbyists and professionals welcome. Photography assistant positions may be available for interested volunteers with limited experience. One-time commitments and ongoing opportunities available.
Help us take video for recipes, promotional materials, and events. Skilled hobbyists and professionals welcome. Videography assistant positions may be available for interested volunteers with limited experience. One-time commitments and ongoing opportunities available.
Help us bring our website to the next level by enhancing site features, or help us work towards developing the app version of Cookable Kitchen. Professional and hobby coders welcome.

Our Wish List
We are occasionally looking for specific items to be donated. We use some of these to improve our production. We also use them to offer prizes at classes and events to get people excited about inclusive cooking. Some of what we’d love to have on hand include:
